In addition, Elzy is active in various county and industry organizations.  Our goal is to serve as an informational conduit, connecting our local communities and industry leaders to our customers. Why? For a beneficial exchange of ideas and feedback. We feel great ideas and advice are made better when they are shared freely! Wish to learn more about these endeavors? Or do you have any general questions about us? If so, contact us today to get them answered!

Community Involvement

At Elzy Milling & Trade, we are fervent and proud supporters of our local communities like our 4-H and FFA youth. Community involvement has always been an important part of our mission statement. Also, students involved in the programs we support receive a 10% discount on all purchases for any agricultural or fair projects at our unique stores in Ohio. So, we also help these groups in many other ways such as fund-raising support, project advice, and a direct partnership with local high school FFA chapters!

Also, we work to support the local Boy and Girl Scout Troops, and Safety Town preschool safety training. Also, we support American Legion Post 545, and Ohio Bird Sanctuary, among others. Our team is able to provide them with several types of agricultural supplies and tools. So, as one of the most unique stores in Ohio, we help wherever we can.

Our Unique Stores In Ohio Are A Large Part Of The Community

In 2015, we won the Richland Community Development Group’s Business Excellence Award. Rewarded for outstanding community outreach within local communities. We are very proud of that achievement and strive to get the award every year. As one of the most unique stores in Ohio, we strive to be actively involved in our community.

Ultimately, our goal is to enhance the local business climate.  We are active in organizations such as the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce to serve as a voice for the North Central Ohio agricultural community.  From our historic campus in downtown Bellville, we work with local, county, and regional officials to provide feedback on issues. Also, we offer opportunities facing all of our communities!
